Manage customer expectations
The Chatbot can transfer a conversation to a human agent when it hasn’t yet learned the answer to a question. Human agents won’t be available in the middle of the night, but you can still use a chatbot to let your customers know their question will be answered soon. The out-of-office chatbot knows whether or not there are human agents available and communicates this to customers. If no human agents are available, the chatbot can ask for details so they can follow-up, such as an email address or phone number.
