Chatbot Trijntje for the Dutch Railway Pension Fund
In 2012, the Railway Pension Fund (SPF) was looking for new ways to keep offering personal service while at the same time being able to help visitors 24/7. Working closely with SPF Beheer, Ecreation – a part of Watermelon – then developed chatbot Trijntje. With the help of a chatbot, SPF Beheer is always available to help answer website visitors’ questions and help them find the information they need. Trijntje can answer any pension related question and can, when requested, display documents (PDF’s) and open pages. ReadSpeaker technology was integrated into the chat window, so Trijntje can even speak answers out loud. This means visually impaired visitors have full access to the information they require. Chatbot Trijntje was also one of our first speaking chatbots with a usability check in the shape of a thumbs up or thumbs down! 😉
Annemiek replaces chatbot Trijntje
In July 2015 chatbot Trijntje retired, because it was time for a new update. Chatbot Annemiek then stepped in to replace her on the Railway Pension Fund’s website. Annemiek helps answer questions, gives tips and advice to website visitors and opens forms. Chatbot Annemiek is currently active, so feel free to have a chat!
